Political Science and International Relations
Political Science and International Relations undergraduate degree program is offered under The Department of Economics and Business Administration. It is an academic discipline that studies political principles and practices with an emphasis on the concept of “power” in the past and today while critically examining the processes of authoritative decision-making and action carried out in different political structures and their impacts.
The program’s curriculum covers the discipline’s four major subfields: comparative politics, international relations, political theory, and local politics. It helps students to conduct extensive research on various issues including international relations theory, international political economy, international law, international security, comparative politics, foreign policy analysis and area studies and specialized courses.
Graduates of Political Science and International Relations have a wide array of career opportunities in ministries, banks, insurance companies, national and international companies, national and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and online and print media organizations in different parts of the world. Graduates can undertake master’s and doctoral studies in any field of social sciences if you choose to pursue an academic career.
