International Trade and Business
Founded in 2018, the International Trade and Business Program aims to graduate students to be skilled and knowledgeable
- Business executives and entrepreneurs able to make strategic decisions in the light of the opportunities and risks presented within a globalised competitive environment.
- Analytical thinkers, problem solvers
- , decision makers, resource managers and leaders.
- Contributors to both public and private sector management and to the economy more generally.
Students on the International Trade and Business program will take theoretical and practical courses that will develop their capacity to make financial, management and marketing decisions in their future workplaces. The program is fully informed by contemporary practice and current technology, and the need to research, identify and solve business problems in the international trading context. Graduates of the International Trade and Business program have the opportunity to find jobs in commercial banks, investment banks, brokerage firms and related governmental institutions, international sales or service companies and international marketing units.
The graduates will also be well-qualified to apply for positions in public institutions such as the Central Bank, Ministry of Finance and Treasury where financial and fiscal policies are determined.
