Medicine
The Faculty of Medicine was opened in 2008, the hospital with an area of 55,000 square meters was opened in 2009. The hospital is accompanied by other research centers, such as the Nuclear Medicine Research Center. The hospital are treating many important figures, including Rauf Denktash, and agreements were signed between the university and Gagauzia, according to which Gagauz patients are transferring to the hospital. The School of Medicine has also participated in public health campaigns in the country, including screening of students in schools and offering in vitro fertilization services. The faculty received the WORLDCOB Institutional Excellence Award in 2013
